ANATEMAH at Sile Garden: Jazz, Electronics and Sonic Freedom in the Gardens of Sant’Andrea
On Thursday, June 25 at 9:00 PM, Sile Garden welcomes Anatemah, one of the most original and innovative projects on the contemporary Veneto music scene. Formed in 2023, the trio explores a unique musical language that blends contemporary jazz, improvisation, electronics and sonic experimentation, creating performances that become true journeys through sound, balancing energy, poetry and creative freedom.
The evening, dedicated to the ADVAR Foundation, will offer audiences the opportunity to experience music from their latest album, Sambèło da ròcoło. Inspired by the Venetian dialect and local cultural imagery, the record transforms regional traditions into a living source for contemporary musical exploration.
The Musicians
Alessandro Fedrigo – Electric Bass
The driving force behind the project, Alessandro Fedrigo uses the electric bass far beyond its traditional role. His melodic and rhythmic lines continuously interact with the other instruments, creating evolving soundscapes rich in texture and movement. A musician with a strong improvisational spirit, he is one of the creative minds behind Anatemah’s artistic vision.
Michele Tedesco – Trumpet
Michele Tedesco’s trumpet serves as the narrative voice of the trio. Moving effortlessly between lyrical, contemplative passages and powerful bursts of energy, his playing guides listeners through unexpected musical landscapes. His style combines the heritage of jazz with a highly personal and contemporary approach to sound.
Gian Ranieri Bertoncini – Drums and Electronics
As the trio’s rhythmic and experimental engine, Gian Ranieri Bertoncini blends acoustic percussion with electronic textures and sound manipulation. His work creates a dynamic bridge between organic performance and technological innovation, enriching the ensemble’s constantly evolving sonic palette.
A Concert to Experience
Anatemah do not simply perform a collection of compositions; each concert is a unique experience shaped by improvisation, interaction and exploration. The result is music that defies labels, captivating both jazz enthusiasts and listeners eager to discover new and unexpected sounds.
Set within the charming atmosphere of the Gardens of Sant’Andrea, Anatemah’s performance promises to be one of the most distinctive events of the Sile Garden 2026 season—an evening dedicated to listening, experimentation and the discovery of a musical project that has made artistic freedom its defining hallmark.
